6th grade, lunch time, the third day of school.

When it was my first day at the district, because I was forced out of my house in my old town, so I didn't know anyone at this school.
And it kinda sucks being the new kid at the very beginning of the year because no one really pays attention to you, instead they look for their friends that they had since elementary school. Anyways.

I sat at random tables during lunch, until the third day of school, we had to choose our permanent seats for the rest of the quarter. Which sucked because I had no one to sit with, so the person who was my Guidance Counselor showed me to a table that was open. Since I'm really shy I wasn't able to talk normally till way later in the year, when she first met me she had to lean in to hear me cause of my very soft talking shy voice.

But now, we're very very very great friends, and we talk to each other every day<3

Sorry my other friends, but I feel more comfortable talking to her about my problems. Nothing wrong with you guys. She doesn't bring her own pains into the conversation to help me feel better. Heather - I'm really glad I met her. She knows how rough it is being as painfully shy as we are. Although she does warm up to people far faster then I do, it's still good to know that I'm not the only one who's afraid to talk to people, and sometimes trust them. She's very sympathetic when she needs to be, and she's really nice!
